Please Note
I have had many people writing to
me about Fasttracker 2 asking about many different things
about my part in the project and further development.
Please let me make it clear that this is just a fan site
that I have created for everyone in the tracking scene.
I am in no way connected to the creation or further development
of Fasttracker. I am just a keen fan and tracker! However,
any site feedback or general questions are always welcome...
Peace to you all - Jut
Short History About Triton - The original creators
of Fasttracker
Triton was a demo group active in the PC demo
scene from 92 to about 96. The first demo, Crystal Dreams,
was released in the summer of '92 and won the demo competition
at Hackerence V. The second and last demo was released june
'93 and won the demo competition and The Computer Crossroads
(TCC-93) party in Gothenburg. Triton's greatest pride, however,
is the music-program Fasttracker2, which was released in
'95.

Latest FT2 news from Starbreeze Studios - 23/05/99
FT2 has been put on hold indefinitely. Most
of you've probably figured that much out already since pretty
much nothing has happened over the last year. We have to
face the fact that it's impossible to maintain the program
while I run Starbreeze and Fredrik is working at Ericsson.
We're considering a public release of the source-code so
that others can take up the trail where we left off, but
so far we've not decided how, when or if this will be done.
If this were an ideal world, where there was infinite time
and no need to make a living, there would definitely be
a multiplatform Fast Tracker 3. Unfortunately this world
is nothing like that.
